What's Happening at the CTC?

Thank you!

The CTC Board thanks all our faculty and student presenters for creating another great year of learning together about teaching. Watch this space for more great Roundtables in the fall. If there's an idea you would like to share, let us know. Contact Barbara Kobritz for more information.

Mentors and Partners Program (MAPP)

All regular and adjunct faculty are invited to participate in MAPP. You choose the focus of your mentorship or partnership. Maybe there's a special curriculum development piece you want to work on with a colleague. Maybe you're new to college teaching and would like to have a more experienced teacher to guide you through the first semester. Anything that improves teaching and learning is good, and there is a stipend for participating. You can contact Barbara Kobritz, CTC Coordinator, for more information. Click on the "Read more" link for specific program guidelines.

Connecting, Collaborating and Celebrating the Art of Teaching

The 2018 Conference is in the books. It was held on a beautiful spring day on the lovely rural campus of Finger Lakes Community College. Altogether 22 faculty from TC3 participated, including many of our CollegeNow colleagues. Aaron Decker, Sarah Wolff and Anndrea Mathers were among the day's presenters.

Something to think about over the summer: When you return in the fall, we'll be soliciting proposals for 2019 presenters. Presentations can be about any aspect of pedagogy. Please consider sharing your valuable knowledge with our colleagues from seven area community colleges.
