Apply for Housing

Application Process

To begin applying for housing, first identify whether you are a new student at Tompkins Cortland, or a returning student who who lived in campus housing in the previous year. Then follow the housing checklist.

Housing Contract

This contract is required for housing in our residence halls. This is a legally binding contract. Please read it carefully.  It applies to the Fall 2018 semester. Your signature means that you have read and agree to the terms of the contract as well as the Residence Life Handbook.

Download the Fall 2018 residence hall contract (pdf), complete and mail or fax (607.844.6560), or you may read, complete and submit your residence hall contract online at TC3.simplecampushousing.com.  You will need your myTC3 username and password to use the online form.

Housing Discount

Sign up for housing by July 1 and save $1000. Submit a housing contract and a $250 security deposit by July 1 to get the discount.

Fall 2018 Housing Checklist

Housing is offered based on availability on a first-come, first-served basis to those who meet ALL of the criteria in their checklist. Please be sure to get the checklist that is right for you.

Students who are new to Tompkins Cortland

This check list is for students who:

  • are new to the College for the Fall 2018 semester.

This checklist is for students who lived in campus housing during Spring 2018 and would like to return to campus housing for the Fall 2018 - Spring 2019 academic year.

Summer campus housing

Spring housing students can get summer housing information from the Office of Residence Life in Tioga Hall.

StudentsPayment Arrangement Form

Use the Payment Arrangement Form if you are paying for tuition, fees, housing and meals with the cash, check, or credit card option. You MUST process a payment of $2,500 along with this form. (If you intend to use any financial aid, please follow the instructions in the financial aid paragraph on the housing criteria checklist.)
